APRIL 22 , 2016 – MAY 8 , 2016 AT PLUMMER AUDITORIUM

Book by Terrance McNally. Music and Lyrics by David Yazbek.

Based on the Motion Picture released by Fox Searchlight Pictures® and written by Simon Beaufoy, produced by Uberto Pasolini, and directed by Peter Cattaneo.

Adapted from the Academy Award®-winning movie, this charming and hilarious musical follows the journey of two unemployed steelworkers desperate to make a living. When the search for work becomes hopeless, they scheme to put together a male striptease act and recruit other displaced workers to join them. The heart of this musical is the story of self-empowerment, overcoming odds, and the unbreakable bond formed within this seemingly diverse group of men who find that they have more in common than they first thought.

REVIEWS/PRESS

“The destination for girls’ night out in Southern California this month is definitely Plummer Auditorium in Fullerton. That’s where 3-D Theatricals’ revival of David Yazbek and Terrence McNally’s The Full Monty …. a lighthearted musical with a big message about believing in yourself…. kicks into high gear for the next two weekends. ” – BroadwayWorld Los Angeles (Ellen Dostal reviewed April 16)

“3-D Theatricals debuts its couldn’t-be-better revival of the 2000 Broadway hit musical The Full Monty. T.J. Dawson directs with accustomed expertise. Particular attention has been paid to ensuring finely honed dramatic/comedic performances from all concerned. With a can’t-miss book, a cast of true-to-life three-dimensional characters, a jazzy score and sexy, hip-thrusting, pelvis-swiveling choreography, The Full Monty delivers… contemporary musical theater at its most entertaining…”- Stage Scene LA (Steven Stanley reviewed April 17)

“3-D Theatricals brings us a no–holds–barred presentation of this titillating and heartwarming musical that offers so much more than the anticipation of “the full monty.” – Tin Pan L.A. ( Ryan M. Luevano April 23rd)
